About Me

Welcome to my blog! I'm Lora Webster, and after teaching both Pre-K and first grade, I am now the Preschool Director at St. Matthew Lutheran School in Hawthorn Woods, IL. I have a BA in elementary education from Concordia University Chicago. Go Cougars!

Teaching has always been my dream job, and I love coming to work every day.  Those beautiful little faces and curious questions make up for all the long commutes and hours of filing and organizing!

I have been married for three years to my wonderful husband, Scott. He works as the sous chef at country club. Needless to say, we have very opposite schedules!

This blog is a place for parents and teachers to connect and grow.  While it originally started as solely a classroom blog, I have been excited to see it grow in the blogging community. My goal is that parents will be able to see what their children are doing in school on a day-to-day basis, and teachers will be able to glean ideas and share experiences so that everyone benefits in the end!
